Jenney Kavanagh is a leading star who is best known for her lead role in the Irish soap series “Fair City.
Jenney choose acting as her career from a very young age, and has spent most of her life wowing audiences even since. She has had a diverse career in theater, film and television and was listed one of the top 10 Irish Actresses in a poll for HOT PRESS MAGAZINE. And thanks to The Hope Foundation, Jenny is embarking a new journey.
Together with a team of other well-known personalities, Jenney has been training to climb one of the world’s most famous mountains, Mount Everest, to raise money and awareness for The Hope Foundation. And on September 30th, she and her teammates began their grueling 20,305 climb to the top. The goal of this challenge was to raise enough money to build a new HOPE girls home in Calcutta. This home will provide Calcutta’s most desperate girls with food, clothing, shelter, education, a brighter future but most importantly—love.
