As well as ‘The Clinic’, Dominic starred as Stephen Fry’s errant brother Simon Kingdom in the UTV series ‘Kingdom’.
Dominic has been a guest on many Irish TV shows which have included, ‘The Late Late Show’, ‘The Afternoon Show’, ‘Seoige’, and ‘Podge and Rodge’. He also was a guest presenter on ‘The Afternoon Show’ in February 2010. He has been a guest on several radio shows and was also profiled by 'The Sunday Times'. He was also nominated for ‘The Sexiest Person On TV’ in the ‘TV Now Awards’. He didn’t win! Luckily!
In Winter 2008, Dominic appeared as a celebrity chef in RTE's prime time show ‘The Restaurant’. After impressing a restaurant full of guests and three of Irelands best known and sternest food critics, Dominic was awarded four stars.
Dominic started his career over twenty years ago and after spending four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, has appeared in over forty TV and film productions, including the films ‘The English Patient’ and ‘Shooting Fish’. He also played the lead role in Duncan Jones’ (son of David Bowie and director of ‘Moon’) first film ‘Whistle’.
Dominic has appeared in some of the most acclaimed television dramas of the last two decades. He played the central role of Mortimer Lightwood in the celebrated BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens’ ‘Our Mutual Friend’, and Nigel Hawthorns emotionally scarred son in Channel Four’s multi award winning ‘The Fragile Heart’.
He was a regular in the ITV medical drama ‘Always and Everyone’ (A&E) for two years, playing pediatrician Andrew Argyle with Niamh Cusack and Martin Shaw.
Dominic has appeared in several TV comedies too, including the ITV series ‘Up Rising’ with Michelle Collins, ‘Trevor’s World Of Sport’ and ‘Grease Monkeys’, but it is probably as the ‘killer’ in several TV thrillers over the years, that Dominic is most recognized!
This year will see Dominic preparing to film ‘Midsomer Murders’ along with many other projects that will follow.
Dominic Mafham is delighted to be working with Red Carpet and is now available for TV Work, Hosting and Personal Appearances.
