A quintessentially British gentleman, Stuart Manning’s professional acting portfolio affirms success in roles across multiple genres proving him to be a versatile actor with strong image and dialect ability. First discovered as a new face by London’s Models 1, Stuart was later hand-picked by Bruce Webber to become the face of America’s Abercrombie and Fitch. Stuart has appeared in numerous television commercials for premium bands including Pepsi, Muller Yoghurt and Orange. His natural presence in front of the camera coupled with his physical attributes and skills like motorbike riding adds to his appeal.

In 2001, Stuart landed the role of Sam Armstrong in the ITV soap, ‘Night and Day’. It was for this performance that Stuart won the title ‘Hero of the Year’ at the British Soap Awards. Stuart has appeared in the Indie film Pump, ITV Diamond Geezers and the renowned family drama The Bill, plus in 2003, he went on to act in Holby City, which was rated as one of the top ten BBC dramas.

Stuart’s major break came in 2004 when he was offered a leading role in Channel 4’s daytime soap ‘Hollyoaks’, playing the character Russ Owen. Stuart successfully manipulated his character to suit every story line, not only did Russ fight and survive testicular cancer, he also became a love rat and secretly fathered a child. In 2009, much to the disappointment of his many adoring fans, Stuart’s character Russ, exited ‘Hollyoaks’ on a cliff hanger. This exit brought with it great audience figures of his fans built over the past 5 years.
